Overview
Built in 1860 by the Nawab of Bahawalpur. The white marble structure has space for 15,000 people to pray.The white marble used in its construction was imported from India. The red marble was imported from Jodhpur. The skirting and wainscoting was imported from Australia.

In 1860, the Nawab of Bahawalpur undertook the construction of this magnificent mosque. Crafted from imported white marble, the mosque boasts a capacity to accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers. The white marble, sourced from India, and the red marble, imported from Jodhpur, lend an exquisite touch to its architecture. Additionally, the skirting and wainscoting materials were brought in from Australia to complete the mosque's remarkable design.
